Industry Standards SIF (Schools Interoperability Framework) – Designed for the interoperation of many school applications RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) A method of remotely storing and retrieving data using devices called RFID Tags. An RFID tag is a small object (e.g., an adhesive sticker) that contains antennas for receiving and responding to radio frequency queries from an RFID transceiver. Used in library security systems.
