Challenges Property proponents pay for boilerplate plans Permitting authorities must deal with nonstandard plans Maintenance requirements and reporting due dates are hard for property owners/operators to track Equally difficult for municipal staff to track reports and issue enforcement letters Difficult for the public to view required O&M submittals or compliance history Potential Solution Create an online platform for managing O&M plans Task 7 product: a model RFP spelling out the specifications for this platform

Progress to date Preliminary meeting with staff from permitting authorities in Neponset Watershed municipalities Outlined specifications of a product that would meet their needs Second meeting with staff to discuss specifications Met with MAPC’s head web developer to find out how to communicate those specifications to potential vendors Wrote a set of “user stories” for vendors to understand the specifications
