A Mosque is not necessary To Celebrate Sabbath people probably convened in Muhammed’s house-a large square court with rows of palm trees- courtyard may be modeled after this Leader (Imam) stood on a minbar in front of qibla wall Once Muslims were estabished in a region they began to build on a large scale perhaps to create visible evidence of their power
