School Education and Front End Resources Family Resources and Reintegration Collaboration and Communication Propose a strength-based family assessment to be distributed by probation – recommend implementation plan Provide at least one evidence-based education opportunity for each secondary school in District 7 Distribute to families an updated resource guide Inform youth and their communities how they can lesson the impact of bullying and social stigmas Assess Resource networks and enhance these networks while clearly communicating across systems to avoid the “silo effect” Identify in local communities all stakeholders affiliated with youth Each District will gather information regarding successful and unsuccessful reintegration efforts, including treatment successes and those that incorporate positive youth outcomes, to send to key stakeholders (from statewide reintegration plan)

4. Strategic Area: Family Resources and Reintegration Goal: All families in District 7 are provided family strength-based assessments. Objective A: Propose a strength-based assessment to be implemented by Probation in District 7 Recommendation #1: The Department of Juvenile Corrections and Probation Shall implement a plan ensuring all families receive a family strength-based assessment. Goal: All families coming into contact with the Juvenile Justice system in District 7 are provided support. Objective A: Distribute to families an updated resource guide with information on how to access services Goal from the Statewide Reintegration Plan: Each District will gather information regarding successful and unsuccessful reintegration efforts, including treatment successes and those that incorporate positive youth outcomes, to send to key stakeholders (from statewide reintegration plan)

Strategic Area: School Education and Front End Resources Goal: Youth will understand the impact of delinquency as it relates to their jobs, health, education, friends, and families Objective A: Provide at least one evidence-based educational opportunity for each secondary school in the District to assist in educating youth about the consequences of delinquency Goal: Youth and their communities will understand the impact of negative stereotypes and inappropriate behavior on the community Objective A: Inform youth and their communities how they can lessen the impact of bullying and social stigmas

Strategic Area: Collaboration and Communication Goal: District 7 will have consistent communication and collaboration among all community stakeholders and systems affiliated with youth Objective A: Identify in local communities all stakeholders affiliated with youth. Objective B: Assess resource networks and enhance these networks, while clearly communicating across systems to prevent the “silo effect”
