Facts and Vocab QUIETLY If you are talking your name will get written down and you will receive no points You will also be doing the RESPECT essay When you’re done, bring it up and I’ll check it Then start your vase template

Step 1 Choose the shape for the sketch in your packet Take out your sketch paper. Fold it in half and along the FOLDED side draw half your vase Then cut it out so its symmetrical The good paper for your final sketch is on the table

Attention kiddies!!! There is a QUIZ that includes all the History we learned so far Prehistoric, Egyptian, and Greek It will take place in a week or so when your vases are completed Start studying your Facts and Vocab from those 3 units!!

Step 2 Once your vase is traced on the good paper, create your 6 rows of geometric designs, either using your own or ones from your packet Leave room in the middle for the large images!! This is the most important part of your vase, I would recommend doing this section LAST

Step 3 Make sure you have 6 design rows drawn in. Tomorrow you want to work on your Story Section, using either a myth from Greek mythology or illustrate a story from your life (graduation, driving, favorite memory etc) Entire sketch is to be colored in using red, black and gold BEFORE using the clay!!

For Tomorrow Tonight would be ideal for you to look up an image you want to illustrate for your large part of your vase. You can do modern day fairytales, myths. Something to represent your life, or something from Greek Culture. If there is a sub tomorrow, you will not have access to this computer, so bring your images to class!!

HEEEEY!! If you know what Image you want, write it down on my sign in sheet… That way I will print it out for you in case I’m not here tomorrow

Clean up!! Make sure all paper is cleaned up, scraps are thrown away. Put the Greek packed in your binders! Put your Vase sketch in your Bins!! This is what you’ll be working on tomorrow And remember, this needs to be done before you use clay!!
