How God defines Men and Women God defines a man as Masculine. As a servant leader As spiritually minded. As possessing strength of Character. (Character that reflects a likeness to God.)
2
DIFFERENCE DOES NOT MEAN UNEQUAL
3
Galatians 3:28 (NIV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
4
HOW DOES GOD DEFINE A WOMAN? Genesis 1:27 (NASB-U) God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Today’s woman is not the person she used to be. Neither is today’s man.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 The United States Congress declared that persons with equal training, education, and experience shall have equal pay regardless of race, nationality, religion, or sex.

FEMININE DISTINCTION Gen. 2:18 "The Lord God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him'“ WHAT WHO GOD MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE…
11
To this basic creative pattern, every culture adds its own shaping and detail. Every society develops its own definition of femininity. But in spite of all the cultural ADDITIONS, the basic biological pattern is followed. Whether in Canada, Columbia, or China, girls come into a world that eventually teaches them to walk and talk like a woman. Girls learn early that boys are different. They learn that a little girl is to grow up to be a woman who in a special feminine way is to be kind, compassionate, sensitive, and tender.
12
As a result of these obvious differences, there have been many attempts to define the core nature of masculinity and femininity. Some say that male aggressiveness (hormonally induced) tends to make him an initiator, while women find fulfillment in being responders. IS THIS TRUE? IS THIS TRUE? SOMETIMES—BUT NOT ALWAYS. SOMETIMES—BUT NOT ALWAYS.
13
Others believe that because of differences beginning in fetal development, men have an edge in objective and spatial reasoning, while women excel in the equally important logic of the heart. IS THIS TRUE? IS THIS TRUE? SOMETIMES—BUT NOT ALWAYS. SOMETIMES—BUT NOT ALWAYS.

His Needs, Her Needs, Willard Harley (1) Sexual fulfillment (2) recreational companionship (3) an attractive spouse (4) domestic support (5) admiration.
15
(1) affection (2) conversation (3) honesty and openness (4) financial support (5) family commitment.
16
Is Harley right? SOMETIMES—BUT NOT ALWAYS. WHICH IS WHY THIS IS SUCH A TOUGH NUT TO CRACK. Sexual differences are real, but those differences aren’t unique to each gender. Aren’t mutually exclusive, don’t belong to one sex or the other.
17
The Scriptures themselves show that it is foolish to say that a woman should never lead, be strong, or assert herself. Deborah Abigail Huldah Esther the daughters of Zelophehad are all examples of women who knew how and when to assert themselves in a godly way.

DISTINCTIONS IN APPEARANCE (DEUT. 22:5) Deut. 22:5 (NASB-U) “A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
20
“Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him? But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her” (1 Cor.11:14 -15).

DISTINCTIONS IN ROLES. Is a woman's place in the home? NOTHING SHOULD DIMINISH THE HONOR OF THE WOMAN WHO CHOOSES TO MARRY, HAVE CHILDREN, MANAGE THE HOME AND USE IT AS A PLACE OF C HRISTIAN HOSPITALITY. 1 Tim 5:9-10- 9 A widow is to be put on the list only if she is not less than sixty years old, having been the wife of one man, 10 having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work.
24
1 Tim 5:14- “ 14 Therefore, I want younger widows to get married, bear children, keep house, and give the enemy no occasion for reproach;” “Admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed” (Titus 2:4-5)
25
This is not advice for all women. READ Proverbs 31:10-30. She buys fields, makes trades, adds financial support to the family, works outside the home.

DISTINCTIONS IN SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS. Matthew 5:27-28 (NASB) 27 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; 28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29
1 Tim 5:9-10- 9 A widow is to be put on the list only if she is not less than sixty years old, having been the wife of one man, 10 having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work.

John 4:17-18 (NASB) 17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus *said to her, "You have correctly said, 'I have no husband'; 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly."
32
Men are one woman men, and women are one man women. Romans 1:24-25 - 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever!
