2015-16 Project Each club will receive 20 hand poured candles today to sell and make their seed money. To get more than 20 candles after today you must purchase them at $3.00 each. Financial and activity reports will be due TWO months later. Design the candle labels and figure out a strategy to sell them as a group.

Project Motel Kids There are many families in Orange County, California who don’t have a permanent address, they go from motel to motel every month. We partnered with the Boys and Girls club of Anaheim to provide these children a chance to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth” at Disneyland in Anaheim.

Project Korea Project Korea involves reaching out to abandoned youths and orphans placed in youth homes. Currently, we are helping children who resides in Busan, South Korea.

Project Mexico Sister Gemma Pak has been in Mexico since 2010 providing hot lunch to 100 children every day. She also makes crafts with local families to help fund the lunch services.

Project Cambodia To this day, the scars of communist influence and genocide mark the society in the form of poverty and destitution. Khmer Presbyterian Fellowship (KPF) was established in 1995 to give hope to Cambodian youth and young adults through various church ministries.

Rules & Regulations 60% of the profit will be given to HOPE after each project term ends (about 2-3 months) At the end of a term, clubs must come up with either a revised project or a new one.

Important Dates Submit the project form draft today to get the 20 candles. Review of today’s project form will be returned in 2-3 days with revisions. 11/17/15 Final proposal should be submitted 5 days after review of project. 11/22/15

Hope Credit Score beta stage to replace Hope Passport HOPE credit score starts at 1000 per person and by clubs. Everyone who came today receives 10 bonus points. Credit scores will be lowered when deadline is not met! Credit scores will be reflected on their annual recognition awards. Bad credit scores will lead to 65% of profit to be turned into HOPE.
