Ethic Ordinances State law requires all municipalities to adopt an ethics policy for all employees and elected officials of the establishment. Demonstrates accountability for employees and all affiliated with establishment. Fosters trust Provides guidance for day-to-day conduct of establishment.

Organizational Ordinances These are rules governed by the organization set forth by policy and procedure to ensure the safety and well being of the employee and everyone involved with the establishment.

Objective Create an effective instructional workforce Ethics Training Program that can be utilized by any establishment. Ethics Training can be conducted at employees own pace, any time, from office or home. Training will be divided into three 40 minute training exercises. Ethics certificate distributed upon completion of entire two hour training.

Harassment Discrimination in the workplace is based upon race, sex, creed, religion, national origin, age, color or disability. It is prevalent during a hostile work environment as it deals with race, sex, religion, national origin, age, color or disability. Any unwelcomed sexual advances or requests for sexual favors as it relates to job related duties during and after work hours.

Chain of Command Questions concerning discrimination, sexual harassment, or hostile work environment should be taken seriously at all times and reported immediately by following organization’s chain of custody Or reporting incident directly to Compliance Officer

Conclusion Always report incidents to supervisor as soon as possible. Always try to prevent volatile situations by walking away and reporting incidents. Never allow incidents to escalate.
