Salesmanship=ability to sell goods and services. Must have charisma, charm, and good personality.

Prospecting=process of identifying possible customers. Good prospects must have the desire to buy a product. In prospecting you have to use your head.

Take your time in preparing to meet a prospect. Know your product. Think about what your gonna say.

1. Recognition of the prospect’s needs. 2.Demonstration that the product offered will satisfy those needs. 3.Must be interesting and lively.

Prospect may not agree to purchase product. Instead, may offer some objection. Prospect may be afraid that product will not be satisfactory.

Post sale duties are the tasks a salesperson performs after a sale has been made. Document the sale and give the buyer a receipt. The receipt indicates that the buyer has become the legal owner of the product.
