Setting Goals What is a goal? A goal is something we want to accomplish and get better at. It may also be something we want to change. Have any of you ever made any goals? If so, what were they?

Goals It is important to set goals. When we set goals it should be something we can achieve but it makes us work hard to get there. There are two types of goals that we will talk about today. Short –term goals Long –term goals

More About Goals A short-term goal can be to learn a new habit that you can do right away. An example of this would be try one new vegetable a week or 15 more minutes of playing outside a day. A long-term goal is a new habit that you would like to reach by a certain time such as the end of the school year. An example of a long-term goal is getting an A+ in Math class by the end of the year.

I want everyone to take out a piece of paper and write down 1 or 2 short-term goals you would like to reach and 1 or 2 long-term goals you would like to reach. If you would like you can share them with the class. Let’s Set Some Goals
