LIZZIE'S LIFE: Shopping, romance, and class trips to Rome Lizzie suffers the daily humiliations of Junior High, where she can't even repeat an outfit without catching the scornful notice of her classmates. WHAT LIZZIE WANTS: Popularity AGE: 19 OCCUPATION: Disney sweatshop worker WAGES: Makes 5¢ for every $17.99 t-shirt she sews. Trapped in misery. LISA'S LIFE: Forced to work 15 hours a day, 7 days a week Lisa is not allowed to speak to her coworkers. Her bathroom visits are timed. If she questions her wages or her treatment, she will be beaten or fired. WHAT LISA WANTS: Dignity WILL THE REAL LIZZIE MCGUIRE PLEASE STAND UP?

6 NEAR CLOSING TIME ON MARCH 25, 1911, a fire broke out at the Triangle Waist Factory. Within 18 minutes, 146 people were dead as a result of the fire.
