Refer to the scripture verses that inspired these works. Choose one work and write a paragraph describing how the artist rendered the narrative, identifying content left out of the imagery. How did the artist’s interpretation change the story? Hypothesize about why these choices were made, providing visual and / or contextual evidence to support assertion.
