UNKNOWN BEAUTIES REVEALED ERASMUS + KA1 – YOUTH MOBILITY Financed by the European Union

The project mobility took place between the 7 th and the 17 th of September 2015 in Bistrita, Rodna, Valea Vinului/Valea Mare and Arcalia The partner organizations were Asociatia Tineri pentru Comunitate Bistrita and RV Projects UK.

AIM Rise the awareness of young people living in urban and rural areas about the importance of preserving and promoting the beauties and utility of the rural areas in order to facilitate tourist, economical, cultural and employability development.

Specific objectives (I) To rise the interest of 16 Romanian and English young people in the significance – beauty, historical, cultural and economical aspects – of 3 rural areas of Bistrita-Nasaud county and then compare to the UK reality. To promote rural places through modern technology To animate the rural areas with the help of non formal methods: ice breakers, team building activities, sport competitions, outdoor activities, storytelling and photo voice To promote cooperation, solidarity and tolerance among Romanian and English young people

Specific objective (II) To promote the active citizenship of the young people involved. To raise the participants’ awareness and understanding of their cultures and countries To promote the acquisition of foreign languages To promote equity and inclusion by including vulnerable young people To develop important skills and competencies to be mentioned in the Youth Pass.
