Picked a SRS of 3 types of each restaurant by using yellowpages.com At each place we gathered 10 times from getting food inside and 10 from going through the drive thru.

State 1. SRS 2. Norm pop or n d > 30 Check 1. Used yellowpages.com to find random restaurants 2. 200>30(check)
15
Ho: µ d =0 Ha: µ d ≠ 0 T= x- µ =21.422 s/ n 2P(t > 21.422 | df = 14 ) = 4.229 * 10 -12
16
We reject ho in favor of Ha because the p-value of 4.229 * 10 -12 is less then α =.05. We have sufficient evidence that the average times of Inside times and Drive Thru times are not equal.
17
X ± (t*)(s/ n) =( -.295,.62834) We are 99% confident that the mean difference of Drive thru times and inside times is between -.295 and.62834 mins.
18
State 1. SRS 2. Large enough sample size so that all expected values counts > 5 Check 1. Used yellowpages.com to find random restaurants 2. check

Ho: the observed frequency distribution Of the average drive thru time fit the expected distribution Ha: the observed frequency distribution Of the average drive thru time doesn’t fit the expected distribution Χ²= Σ (obs. – exp.)2/exp. = (2.20-3.39)2 / 3.39 + (2.21-3.21)2 / 3.21+ … = = 1.3135 P(Χ² > 1.3135 |df = 4 ) =.8591
20
We fail to reject Ho because the p-value of.8591 is greater then α =.05. We have sufficient evidence that the observed frequency distribution Of the average drive thru time fit the expected distribution.

ordering different things or amount in which you order different time of day (how busy) Number of people on shift who serves you timing not accurate(human error)
22
The collection of data we did find somewhat difficult just because of the huge amount of data needed. We started out by buy all the food ourselves but then reverted to just timing people b/c of costs. Project was fun but challenging
23
The Results for test one were not surprising The results for test two were surprising either b.c. they fit with the national averages
