2. Limerick (top of page 7 in poetry book) A humorous verse of 3 long and 2 short lines rhyming aabba. There once was a wonderful star Who thought she would go very far Until she fell down And looked like a clown She knew she would never go far.

3. COUPLET (bottom of pg. 7 in poetry book) A poem of only two lines Both lines have an end rhyme and the same meter Often found at the end of a sonnet Whether or not we find what we are seeking is idle, biologically speaking. -at the end of a sonnet by Edna St. Vincent Millay

4. Narrative Poem (Top of page 8 in poetry book) It tells a story and can be about anything. **Please look up your own example(s) and read to yourself. You don’t have to write down an example because they are usually on the longer side, unless you choose to.
