2.  Title Card: Name your building. Identify the “architects”  Summarize the most important details of the myth/god, etc. that becomes the focus of your building  Explain the selection of the site and why it relates well to the myth/god, etc. and design of the building. Be specific.

3.  In DETAIL, explain how the design reflects myth/god, etc. Consider the lesson/moral/virtues depicted in the myth. (This will take more than 3 cards.)  Design as a whole – what about the myth inspired you to make the most important design decisions? In what ways does the design reflect the myth?  Explain the decisions made on specific parts of the exterior – friezes, columns, pediments, etc.  Explain the decisions made on specific parts of the interior – walls, columns, ceiling – frescoes/mosaics/art work, etc.

9.  You must not miss class without your teachers’ permission. If they mark you absent, I will verify that you were with me, but you might still be given detention hours.  Lunch break – Keep your same lunch period. Do not leave school at any time other than lunch time.  Be at your project engaging in conversation with visiting students…not sitting and visiting with friends or on your phone. (Between classes – no worries).

15.  Bring arch project to The Commons on Wed morning. Set up your project and museum cards.  Balloting begins 10 minutes after class starts.  Get teacher permission to miss class, if possible.  1-2 people need to be at your project site to answer questions, etc. Then, trade off, so everyone has a chance to see the other projects and vote.  Be proud, enthusiastic, and informed!  Ballots due by end of period. Make sure your name is on your ballot.
