Problem Statement Problem Statement: To provide an environmentally friendly alternative to firebrick housing in the Congo. Current Problem: Residents want firebrick housing which is inefficient, costly, and dangerous Solution: Introduce alternative, environmentally friendly housing options.

Potential Problems Residents are already content with their current housing or not want to change their current housing. Residents find the firebrick look aesthetically pleasing. Expensive in the short-run

Our Response to Those Problems Researching ways to add on to current buildings and make them environmentally friendly and suitable for the environment without tearing them down. Creating a plan so that when future buildings are constructed, they will also be environmentally friendly. Finding environmentally friendly solutions that are also aesthetically pleasing. Find cheapest ways of being environmentally friendly.

Conclusion Researching these, as well as other environmentally friendly alternatives to firebrick housing in the Congo. Researching other housing practices used in the Congo and how they can be improved. Creating plans for future construction. Assuring locals are happy with aesthetically pleasing, environmentally friendly homes.
