2. Joining the GLAD Yahoo Group Part 1:

3. 1. Go to www.groups.yahoo.com 2. Click Sign Upwww.groups.yahoo.com

4. 3. Fill out registration.

5. 4. Type in code. 5. Click Create My Account

6. 6. Click “Continue”

7. 7. Type “projectGLADforteachers” in the Find a Yahoo Group search box. Then click Search.

8. 8. Under the Project GLAD logo, click Join this Group.

9. 9. If you want to use your district email to receive messages, go to the message sent to your district email account, click on the “verify” message.

10. 10. Type in your password and click Sign In.

11. 11. Select your district email using the “set” button.

12. 12. Go back to the projectGLADforteachers group join screen. Write a message to the group moderator in the box provided, type in the code. Then click Join at the bottom.

13. 13. Wait for a confirmation email.

14. Part 2: Using the GLAD Yahoo Group

15. Click Messages to peruse recent messages

16. Use View All or Group by Topic to search for topics already discussed.

17. Click Post to post a message
