Refresh your Vocabulary As a Class, let’s refresh our memory on a few key words: Building Materials Quantity vs. Quantity Survey Estimate Square footage Volume vs. Area Scale factor Foot, Inch, Yard, Cubic, Square, Etc… Common Denominator, Rounding, Fraction, Mixed Number, etc... Let’s start with our Student Teams With your Team, you will follow the Handout. You will answer all 6 questions. You will first answer all 6 questions using a Cardboard Box for measurements. You will then answer all 6 questions again using the simple house floor plan handouts. When your Team has answered all the questions, you will proceed on to the Individual Assignment.
