Why Barcelona? ABOUT BARCELONA

Barcelona is an enchanting seaside city with boundless culture, fabled architecture, and a world-class dining scene. There is so much to do here: just strolling the cobblestone lanes of the Gothic quarter is a real treat! A visit to Barcelona is a wonderful opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Spanish language and culture, whether by bartering with market sellers in La Boqueria or discovering Spain’s world-renowned footballing tradition at Camp Nou! The strength of the Catalan identity in the regional capital means that Barcelona is the ideal destination to discover the diversity of Spain’s heritage, enabling students to discuss cultural topics in greater depth.
