4. ACTIVITIES & SITES We will be visiting three historical museums and three national parks that will teach us more about the culture in Barcelona.

5. This particular museum is a giant temple. Since 1882, it has been under construction and is planned to be completed in the next 30 years. Most popular visited museum in Barcelona. MUSEU DEL TEMPLE EXPIATORI DE LA SAGRADA FAMILIA

6. LA PEDRERA BY ANTONI GAUDI Contains a collection of modern art, paintings, and renaissance drawings. An actual apartment building that has now been turned into a museum.

7. Barcelona Centre of Contemporary Culture (CCCB) Frescos Photos Sculptures Paintings All artifacts are from different time periods. All artifacts are from different places around the world.

8. Jardins de Mossen Costa 1 Llobera 60,000 square meters of beautiful gardens including interesting plants such as Mediterranean species and other plants from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Mexico.

9. Parc de la Ciutadella Used to repress Catalan nationalism. Located where Filipe V’s Ciutadella was (military citadel).

10. LANGUAGE We will use the language to discuss our travel arrangements Such as: El equipaje, El pasaporte, La identificación, and Por favor dónde queda…? We will also use the language by discussing the activities we will be doing Such as: Tomar fotos, Visitar un museo, and Ver las atracciones

11. PRACTICE While we are in barcelona we could practice and learn the vosotros form since they use it. We can also practice the restaurant vocabulary when we go out to eat. We will also be practicing the hotel vocabulary when booking out hotel.

12. CONCLUSION This trip would benefit our class because the language is beneficial to us since we learned all of Spain’s terms and language. This trip would be a great opportunity to practice all of our vocabulary and see what the culture there is like since we learned about most of the city. Going on this trip would encourage us to want to learn the language and culture for future experiences.
