On July 12, 1998 I, Allison Shelby Gormley, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at about 8:30 A.M. July 12, 1998

July of 1999 In July of 1999, I moved, with my parents, from my home in Philadelphia to one in Cincinnati, Ohio. I wasn’t even 1, so all I know is that I missed my family. My dad’s whole side of the family lives there, including my grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins.

June 8, 2001 On June 8, 2001 my sister, Sarah Gormley was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In October of 2001, I received my first soccer trophy. I was 3 and played for the YMCA. I can still remember it all! October of 2001

August of 2003 In August of 2003 I began my first day of kindergarten! I remember meeting my teacher and all of my friends!

September of 2004 I broke my arm in September of 2004, when I was in first grade. I fell off of the monkey bars at my dad’s softball game. Thank goodness I didn’t have to relive that memory more that once!

March of 2006 In March of 2006, my friend Nicole and I raised 6,149 books for Children’s Hospital in all of 2 days. Knowing a doctor or 2 there, it was easy. We raised the books during a book week at our school, counted them, and brought them over to Children’s. I couldn’t believe that as a 3 rd grader, I made the cover of the Cincinnati Enquirer!

August of 2007 I moved from Milford out here to Wilson Elementary in August of 2007. I was about to start fourth grade. At least I had already made some amazing friends!

January of 2009 January of 2009 In January of 2009, I vacationed in London, England with my family. We saw amazing sites, walked through castles, and visited Big Ben. August of 2009 In August of 2009 I was finishing off my summer to start my final year at Wilson Elementary. I couldn’t wait to find out about 6 th grade!
