2. By way of explanation: The little graphics at the bottom of each slide are the preview of the first measure of the next slide. I tell the kids it’s like a video game where they have a preview window. They get it, and they get a heads-up for the next slide. I usually try to paginate things so that there is a rest or a whole note at the end of the slide, giving them time to get their minds around the page turn and finding their place.... The “rehearsal letters” are actually letters for form. I am big on recognizing form with my kiddos. “It’s a pattern!” The black frame is so that I can put the projector as far back from the screen as possible and the black frame just overflows the screen area without the overflow of the material. Hope that makes sense..... I add sleigh bells, temple blocks and a whip on the red X’s to add to the color of the piece. Of course, like our good friends at MK8, change it to use as you will. You’ll want to delete this slide before you use the show. Enjoy! Cynthia
