Corrections to 2011-2012 Achievement Target correction 2011 v. 2012 16 Districts – 8 M, 8 R – Watch only 146 schools – most watch status change – 72 M, 80 R, 6 both. – 6 M, 7 R – SINA status change.

Corrections to 2012-2013 Code completely rewritten – Interfacing ITP, SRI, IAA Iowa Assessment/Alternate Assessment issues Created an error in one of the later steps for a small N of schools Confirmed through appeals

Moral of the Story We now have a process in place to confirm the validity of results. – Run the AYP program code – Verify any changes with SAS – Check discrepancies with Excel template.

2012-2013 results 1361 Schools 203 missed Reading only – 14.9% 125 missed Mathematics only – 9.2% 538 missed both reading and math – 39.5% 23 missed OAI (part of the 538) 3 additional missed participation in R and M 63.9% of schools missed AYP for something.

2012-2013 results 347 districts (348 incl. WCLT) 29 missed Reading only – 8.1% 18 missed Mathematics only – 5.2% 37 missed both reading and math – 10.7% 0 missed OAI or participation rate 24.2% of districts missed AYP for something.
