2 Monitoring PCDD& PCDF Sampling in stack in São Paulo 1985 - Installed the first incinerator 1987 - first Test of Burn The 90 other incinerators are installed in the State of São Paulo in 1996 - the first test for evaluation of dioxins and furans because of licensing requests receipt of PCBs in one of four permitted incinerators to burn waste from third parties

3 Monitoring PCDD & PCDF Since 2005, because of new national legislation, incinerators, furnaces and boilers and coprocessing using waste for energy recovery or thermal destruction should monitoring dioxins and furans at least every 02 years Annual monitoring may be required depending on the location and characteristics of waste Monitoring of particulate matter every 06 months or 01 years
