3. Life in Year 1 Established routine- overview of day. Morning routine- encourage children to be independent. Topic- address other area of the new NC. Read Write INC. Maths- focus job with teacher or TA, other groups working independently, learn its. Choosing to learn.

4. Information Classroom support staff- Sue Donegan, Tracey Marlow, Sarah Dexter. P.E. – Tuesday, Thursday afternoon activity No jewellery please, otherwise your child will be unable to take part during PE. Library books- Friday RD, Tuesday EB. Parent helpers see office, induction. Only water in water bottles. Parents noticeboard, please leave notes if somebody else is collecting your child. Named uniform (in everything please, including on PE bag!) Lost Property.

5. Our Partnership Homework- reading, mental maths, Maths games, question of the week. Always club, after half term. Spellings on Friday, score on Monday. Reading books- daily practise at home, changing books and colours. Zappers. Class teddy.

6. Parent evenings – 20 th October and 22 nd October. Any questions- please arrange to speak to the teacher, after school if possible. Scrap book session- 27 th November. Reading workshop- 9 th October. Maths games- 23 rd October. Reading and Maths games will be every half term.

7. Behaviour and rewards Continue with traffic light system. Any major problems we will discuss after school with you. Golden tokens.
