2  Teach a new group every two years.  This means not having a 5 th and 6 th year group every year.  In promoting Link Modules we try to make the subject appealing by doing the following:

3  Parents information evening for incoming 5 th years.  Teachers speak to incoming 5 th year pupils about link modules  Current link modules students to give a brief talk to incoming 5 th years about the link modules programme.

4 Keep a record of all visits in.

5 A) Staff meetings and briefings. A) Students submit articles for our school newsletter. A) We highlight key activities on our electronic notice board.

6 We update information to our school website via our ICT teacher. We submit photographs and articles to our local newspapers.

8  Liaise with the TY coordinator so as to avoid duplicity of events e.g visits in, visits out.  Link Modules visits in and visits out which are exclusive to the Link Modules programme may make it more attractive to pupils. Cooperation with other programmes

9  Ask pupils to evaluate their contributions to activities and to reflect upon what new skills they may have acquired.  Keep an ideas book in the classroom for pupils to record their ideas for link modules related activities.
