Team Kits The colour of the shirt, shorts and socks a team wears is called their team ‘kit’. It is a kind of uniform. It is linked to the identity of a team. It is sometimes also called the team strip It must be a unique design. Teams sometimes change and update their kit design.

Your Challenge! Follow a design brief and use the rugby shirt templates provided to create a new team kit for Gloucester Rugby Club. Design Brief Using only the colours red, white, and black, create a new kit design suitable for a 21 st century Gloucester Rugby Club team. Your shirt design must include a panel for the team’s sponsor.

Plenary Individual pupils present and pitch their designs to rest of group. Extension activities: –Design a new kit for your own school –Design packaging for a particular product –Produce artwork using popular sports wear logos
