2. Passing Statistics  Most accidents occur on a two lane highway when vehicles collide head-on.  Most deaths are caused by improper and careless passing. These are consistently a violation of state law.  Most two lane highways in the state are marked with a solid yellow center stripe and hazard signs in no passing areas.

7. Obey The Laws Of The Road  The state of Alabama has placed road signs and lane dividers to mark an area where it is prohibited to pass.
