Input Devices Computers need to capture information. This can be done using an Input device

Input Devices They fall into six categories: Touch Touch e.g. keyboard, mouse Magnetic Magnetic e.g. credit cards, smart cards Light Light e.g. barcode readers, optical mark readers, scanners Sound Sound e.g. voice recognition Control Switches, e.g. on a speaker, monitor etc Control Switches, e.g. on a speaker, monitor etc Chip Readers, e.g. chip and pin card readers Chip Readers, e.g. chip and pin card readers
