Preliminary HSE Proposals These are HSE’s preliminary proposals on how to implement some of the emergency requirements of the BSSD There will be more emergency-related proposals to discuss with OEWG –HSE is proposing establishing an OEWG emergencies sub-group

EM1. Emergency worker training Current requirement REPPIR requires suitable and sufficient information for relevant employees BSS requirement Article 17.1 requires emergency workers to receive information on the health risks their intervention might involve Article 17.2 requires supplementary information to emergency workers specific to the emergency that has occurred
