3 MAP ACTIVITY Label and color each of the countries and territories on each map Use your notes from 17.2 and 17.3 to annotate both maps with bullet points summarizing US intervention and action in each area  Example: This territory was desired by American sugar interests before being annexed by the US in 1898; it became the 50th state in 1959.  President Roosevelt quietly supported a revolution in this country in order to construct a canal here.
