3 Education Bacon was brought up in a wealthy family and thus had access to a formal education. Bacon was tutored at home for the early years of his life. When he was twelve he enrolled in Trinity College, Cambridge, while there he studied language, statecraft and civil law. He also studied at Grays inn, a very prestigious law school. He attended Trinity for three years and his extensive education is one of the biggest supporting reasons why people believe he might have been Shakespeare. He had the general literary knowledge to have been able to write Shakespeare's plays.

5 Bacon's Literary Works Bacon's style may seem simple but it is actually very complex. He rates among the top echelon of 17-century English Authors alongside with people like Johnson, Mill, Carlyle, and Ruskin. Bacon's earlier works were essentialy products of his "spare time". It was only during his last five years that he was able to concentrate on his writings. Along with Bacon's literary works he was also very well known for his scientific and philosophical works. Francis Bacon is the father of the scientific method which shows he had great knowledge. All these facts lead people to believe that Bacon did in fact write Shakespeares plays.

6 Bacon is Shakespeare? He was a lawyer and had knowledge of parliamentary law Had etiquette of the royal court revealed in Shakespeare's plays. The Religious, philosophical and educational messages reflect Bacons personal opinions. He had the range of general and philosophical knowledge to write the plays He wrote some of the earliest modern works on codes and ciphers. The content of the dramas were in his point of view. Bacon visited foreign countries forming background of Shakespeares plays. Whoever wrote Shakespeare was said to go to Canbridge University and be a scholar which both fit the description of Francis Bacon.
