4. Where in the World Do You Want to Go to College? In Unit 1, you will complete two assessments which focus on the topic of college. Although college is still a few years away, it is still good to think about where you want to go. You should also think about what career you want and set goals to help you attain your career of choice. This assignment will allow you to think about those goals and hopefully get you excited about your future. Directions: On the FRONT of your pennant, put your DREAM university/college/specialty school. Decorate your pennant with the school colors, mascot, etc. On the BACK of your pennant, list your DREAM job and write three steps you can take now to make your dreams come true.

English I Honors— Lesson 2 Vocabulary The prefix im- can mean “not” or it can mean “in”, “within”, or “into”. impartial—adj. treating all rivals or disputants equally; fair and just. imprint—v. impress or stamp (a mark or outline) on a surface or a body. n. a mark made by pressing something on a softer surface so the outline is left behind. imperceptible—adj. impossible to perceive. immaterial—adj. unimportant under the circumstances; irrelevant. imperturbable—adj. unable to be upset or excited; calm.
