Dismissal Procedures On Your Mark; Get Set; GO!!!

2:30 Bell 8-10 and 8-21 bus students line up in the side hallway. An eighth grade teacher will escort you to your bus lines. 8-10 walkers and car pick-ups go to room 8-21.

2:45 Bell 8-10 and 8-21 walkers line up in the main hallway. Mrs. Stoothoff will escort you to the auditorium doors where you will be walked to either Argyle or Hempstead Turnpike. If you sometimes get picked up, you must go out the walker line regardless. Your parent or guardian will have to pick you up from the walker line. walker line regardless. Argyle walkers should line up on the right side and behind the Hempstead Turnpike walkers on the left.

Car Pick-Ups Car pick-ups should line up in room 21. An eighth grade teacher will escort you to the playground. You will be dismissed from the doors by the religious ed. office. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WALK TO A PARKED CAR!!! YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST PARK HIS/HER CAR, WALK OVER TO YOU, AND ESCORT YOU TO THE CAR.

A Community of RESPECT What is respect? Treating others as you would like to be treated Accepting and celebrating the differences among each other Supporting all members of the community Acknowledging the community’s authority figures Observing and complying to the community’s policies, procedures, and rules

Authority Figures Principal, Teachers, Teacher Aids, Lunch Parents, Pizza Day Parents, Class Parents, Nurse, Secretary, Security Guard… Respect them at all times, regardless if they are your teacher or not. Do not answer them back!!! Do not roll your eyes at them!!! Do as they ask!!!

Policies, Procedures and Rules Hall Way Be Considerate of other classes No talking Single File Keep to the RIGHT Yield to the younger classes

Classroom Enter quietly Take out your homework Come prepared with pens, note books, and binder Refrain from talking during lesson

Cafeteria Talk in low voices Remain in your seat Clean up after yourself Listen to the lunch parents/ pizza day parents Push chairs in Do not answer back Say please and thank you
