By doing an activity using IWB, students are able to label the parts of the computer. Identify the use of tool in paint program. E.g. pencil, air brush etc Identify the use of basic parts of the computer by using notepad and Microsoft. This will help pupils to use better the basic parts of computer like mouse, keyboard, monitor and system unit. By group, their will label the basic parts of the computer by using MS word. For e.g. monitor, mouse, etc. Students can be able to label name parts of computer system by using MS word. E.g. mouse, keyboard etc. COMPREHENSIO N (Explaining the meaning of information) Describe the function of the part of computer. E.g. mouse, keyboard, etc. To familiarize pupils with keyboard and mouse, they type up their name with notepad. Students will describe the main function of computer parts by groups. Describe the function of the tools in the paint program. E.g. the curve tool will be use to draw curve line therefore no need to use pencil tool. Describe the main function of the part of the computer and show to them the real items. E.g. printer, scanner, etc By group, they generalize the main function of the part of the computer. E.g. printer, scanner, etc Describe the use of computer components by typing up using MS word and this also help them to use the tools that are provided in MS word.

Develop some activity in drawing by inserting the picture from internet into paint program by work group. Use the tools provided in the paint program for their activity in drawing. Student can be able to solve some problems by understanding the use of tools and menu bars in Paint Program, notepad and MS word. Import the pictures from camera and insert it into Microsoft Word program. E.g. type sentence about the pictures Student can be able to develop skill of using Interactive White Board (IWB). ANALYSIS (breaking down a whole into component parts) Differentiate the differences between printer and scanner. Distinguish the safety and rules in the computer lab among the students. Compare the tools in the notepad and Microsoft word. Point out the reason why there are rules in ICT lab Compare the differences between printer and scanner. Student can be able to compare types of printer, e.g. laser printer and inkjet printer.

Using educational drawing software, students can create drawing using their knowledge in paint and Microsoft word Students use educational drawing software, to design or create a drawing. Student able to design difficult part of drawing by using the tools in paint program. For e.g. student will not be able to draw a curve by pencil tool but the curve tool had been provided. Insert and edit the picture using paint program. Students import pictures into MS word and type sentences to make up a story and present to the rest of the class using IWB. EVALUATION (making judgments about the merits of ideas, materials, or phenomena) Increase the skills of creative thinking in drawing by using Paint Program. To improve and strengthen in communication skills using through internet. Student will be able to select either educational CD games or educational websites Student s takes pictures and import and edit it using paint and MS word. Others students in the class judge the edited picture. Pupils will be responsible for the use and the safety of computer lab items. For e.g. mouse, CD. Students select the best program for drawing and insert picture using MS Word.
