3. I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I am providing this powerpoint to help answer questions you may have concerning procedures, conduct, and communication. This information will be given to you in a pamphlet during open house; the pamphlet can be downloaded at the end of this presentation as well. The information presented will be reviewed along with any other information and questions during open house.

5. PTA Membership Fees are $5 and can be paid during open house or on the 1 st day of school. Transportation All transportation changes must be in writing! Change of transportation form can be sent the morning of the change. In case of an emergency, call the office to notify us of a change. Homework will not be assigned the first couple of weeks of the 1 st 9 weeks. We must have a review and an introduction of rules and procedures. When homework is assigned it is to be completed each night and returned the following day. Students will need crayons, handwriting paper and a pencil to keep at home. Conduct Good behavior is expected and important to ensure a productive learning environment. Your child will have a behavior calendar in their Daily Folder that will be documented based on their day. Please initial daily and review the rules if necessary. PE Days Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday, if the schedule changes a notice will be sent home. Please be sure your child wears tennis shoes on these days. Lunch can be brought daily or bought for $2.25 per day. Money can be sent by the day, week, or month. Your child will be provided with a lunch number.

6. Snack We will have snack time each afternoon. Starting September 1 st we will be implementing a snack calendar. Each child will be responsible for sending snack in about once a month. This helps save on time and ensures each child has a snack every day. It is very important that you remember to send in snack on your child’s scheduled day. Snack can be sent in early and stored. If snack is forgotten we will replace it with another snack, but please send in a forgotten snack as soon as possible! For the remainder of August, please send in a small snack each day. Please do not send a drink.
