3. Who is Claudia ? Her name is Claudia Amparo Astudillo, Claudia is housewife and accounting assitant…. She is from Colombia. She is born in Popayan but, her pass a lot time in Cali

4. Personality Traits She is honest, faithful, a people person, a brain, optimistic modest, independent and friendly.

5. Life changing experience Claudia Thinks that a lot experience changing her life but, the most important experience in her lifetime it was 19 years and half ago. When in 1996 of 10 december at noon a stray bullet changed her life 180 degrees. Claudia was walking home from Santa Barba in to pick up their daughters with her couple.

6. When pass this terrible moment… She Says,:¨I don´t feel nothing¨ She lost her Balance in her body… She was sent to the Hospital Uribe Uribe, where the Doctor´s told her that the bullet this town in the spine c4c5 and she would be quadriplegic. And the Doctor said that she had to spend time in a special room for observation

7. Claudia´s reaction was just thinking about her daughters and she didn´t understand the doctor was explaining. Claudia spent 36 days in the hospital, where doctor´s gave her advide to operate, although she was a always against the operation. Also, I had to look three blood donors because their blood type, was not easy to be found.

8. Other obstacles, Claudia decidede to leave the hospital. After leaving the hospital, Claudia´s house was rented by her boss and she went to live in a friend´s house. Claudia was going to visit her daughters every weekend at the home of an aunt by the father of her daughthers.

9. In spite of all that, Claudia had to answer for her work, and she had a high position as head of portofolio. So, Claudia, worked from home and sometimes from the company. Claudia went to live three months whit her brothers but, took the option of becoming independent and living alone with her daughter’s and her couple. She didn’t continue with the therapies because they were very expensive, eventhough it had many job affers. But it was pensioned by the state.

10. She says to her daughters was also a big life change but, had all the love and support of her entire family to overcome this time. Nowdays, Claudia has 2 beautiful daughters each made a full human beings of great love, with great valves, working and studying. Claudia doesn´t feel paint or anger with what happenend, she says,¨ Was hard for me and for my children now, but in my mind they were always my priority¨…

11. ¨ Thanks to this incident, I can spend quality time with my children, help them be good people… Beacuse being a single mother and working full time doesn´t let you share with your children ¨ Claudia Astudillo Says…

12. Why do you like this person ? I think that Claudia is the representation of the word OPTIMISTIC… It was very hard all what happenend to her but, was not overcome by the situation she was going through.
