LOCATION Lies in Mesoamerica on Western Hemisphere Shares a border with New Mexico Chihuahuan desert is located in Northwestern and Western Chihuahuan

CLIMATE Fairly dry desert with only one intense rainy season in summer 600-1,675m (1,969-5,495) in altitude 35-40˚C or 95-104˚F in range Fairly young desert-8,000 years old

VEGETATION AND BIOMES Very biologically diverse desert The creosote bush is a very popular site along with many other things It has many plants and animals Approximately 3,500 plant species

LANDFORMS SCATTERED DESERTS Just the Chihuahuan Desert itself SCATTERED MOUNTAINS Sierra Madre Sierra del Carmen Organ Mountains Franklin Mountains Sacramento Mountains, etc.

POPULATION DENSITY There are a couple cities including Ciudad Júarez with almost 2,000,000 people El Paso Chihuahua Torreón Las Cruces etc. Saltillo and Monterrey are cities too

OTHER STUFF It is bigger than California Most of the region is composed of sedimentary rocks, some of the mountains are igneous origin 8,000 years old
