Pre Digital Camcorder Formats Analog -Used Scan lines (like old Tube TV’s the h ighest possible pre-digital was 525 lines or 480i) None of these Cameras achieved that level of quality. Could not broadcast images. They had to be run directly from Camera or play back device (VCR) to TV set
