(China) Direct Democracy- Government is ruled by the people. Decisions are made by majority rule. (early US colonies, New England) Theocracy-Government is ruled divinely. Decisions are made based on religious beliefs (Iran, Vatican City)

9. Anarchy Anarchy is a situation where there is no government. This can happen after a civil war in a country, when a government has been destroyed and rival groups are fighting to take its place.
