New Employee Staffing Report Of the 121 newly hired teachers: * 12 were SISD substitute teachers in 2008-09 * 4 were paraprofessionals for SISD in 2008-09 * 4 are graduates of C.E. King High School * 37 were hired from the annual SISD Job Fair * 40 were recruited by SISD Employees

Teacher Retention Report for 2008-09 Teachers remained at their same campus 52 72% Teacher returned to SISD at different campus 7 10% Teacher left to teach in a different district 5 7% Teacher resigned. Plans unknown to SISD 8 11% Sheldon retained 59 out of 72 NEW teachers 82%
