3. Leaders, in Text Our leaders, here in the United States during World War II, were President Franklin Roosevelt, and later, after another vote in President, Harry Truman. We decided to ally with England, which had Winston Churchill, Prime Minister. Hitler was the leader of the Nazis, who set out to kill all the Jews. Eventually, Hitler committed suicide, but a lot of lives were already taken, and millions of lives were changed forever. Leaders were very important. They controlled the war, and the world. In my opinion, Roosevelt was a great leader. But Hitler was the cause of so many deaths, it’s way to much to even start counting. We will never forget the World War, but most importantly, we will never forget the leaders that lead it.
