2 Slide #2: summary My section was about how to help a suicidal person. This section was about what to do if you come by or know a suicidal person. Also, what not to do if you know or come by a suicidal person. This section says that you must speak calmly and take everything very seriously about the suicidal person and to not argue, analyze, or judge them. Lastly, if you do all this then you might just save a suicidal person’s life.

6 Slide #5: Longer Example Lexy’s life hasn’t been going very well. She has recently started to cut herself and is thinking about suicide. Lexy goes to tell Cindy her choice and Cindy doesn’t respond the way she expected her to. Cindy was calm and didn’t judge Lexy about her choice, instead she told Lexy that she understood why and what she was doing and she was fine with it but first she told Lexy that if she went through with it to think about how many people would miss her. So Lexy thought about it and finally decided to not commit suicide after all.

I fell that this is a very important topic because suicide rates have been going up over the past couple of years due to the way people treat suicidal attempters. So if everyone knows how to treat suicidal people the world would have less suicides.
