3 United Nations Statistics Division National CensusInfo Training, BUCREP, Yaoundé, Cameroun, 2-6 October 2011 What is CensusInfo  Developed by UNSD in partnership with UNICEF and UNFPA to disseminate census results  Officially launched in February 2009 at the 40 th session of the Statistical Commission CensusInfo is a software tool to disseminate census data on the web and CD-ROM

4 United Nations Statistics Division National CensusInfo Training, BUCREP, Yaoundé, Cameroun, 2-6 October 2011  Census Data Dissemination as one of three main goals of the “2010 World Programme on Population and Housing Census” as approved by UN Statistics Commission 36 th session Initiative  Assist countries in their efforts to disseminate census results in a timely manner  Dissemination has been the weakest point of population and housing censuses
