1. Support of arboreal energy plantations

2. Eligibility conditions of the support:  The size of the agricultural undertaking has to exceed 4 ESU (in case of a starting undertaking until it has to be undertaken that this limit will be achieved at least at the end of the first calendar year after finishing the investment).  Valid planting permission.  The planting work has to be finished within 12 months (after the reception of the grant decision).  The planter is obliged to maintain the productivity of plantation at least 5 years after the plantation.

3. Eligibility criteria of the support:  At least 50% of the produced wood chips shall be sold in a contract ( contract duration is at least 5 years after the implementation ), in case of own utilization a declaration has to be submitted about that.  The yield of a plantation has to be harvested within 5 years.

4. Character of the grant:  Non-refundable.  Post-financing!!

5. Extent of the grant:  40% of the total eligible costs of the investment (50%, or 60%).  Amount of the grant:  In case of acacia 160 000 HUF/ha.  In case of willows 200 000 HUF/ha.  Maximum amount equals 735 000 €.  The size limit of a field is at least 1 ha.

6. No grant can be applied in case:  The field is under nature conservation protection or involved in the Natura 2000 Programme.  A planting grant for the field has been applied within 5 years. (EMVA, AVOP, NVT)

7. Grant applications can be submitted: Between the 1 st October and the 15 th November.

8. Payment requests:  Can be submitted each year to the Agricultural and Rural Development Office  As a part of the standard field-based grant application and/or  For established plantations that have been reported between 1 st and 31 st August.

9. Payment requests:  Following shall be attached to the payment requests:  The borders of the established plantations reported as coordinates of the standard Hungarian Projection System.  The certificate of the permitting competent authority about the implementation of the plantation.  To the last payment request a certificate about the participation at the training organized by the Agricultural and Rural Development Office.
