OUR MISSION The mission of Ouchi-O’Donovan 6-12 Complex is to provide students with a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social responsibility, and college readiness. We respond to the developmental needs of middle grade learners by maximizing the potential of all students and building a sense of community to foster success at higher educational levels.

B LENDED L EARNING M ODEL 2-3 station model: station 1- Direct Instruction /2 nd station- Independent Learning (Computer based software)/ optional 3 rd station- Collaborative station 2 to 1 computer initiative- Mac Computer laptops 15 students per station

C OLLEGE Y ES !- I-3 G RANT All 6 th Grade students will work on 2 yearly computer based projects First project will focus on Science project during semester 1 Second community project will focus on College Readiness during 2 nd semester Computer carts and i-pads to be used throughout the projects. 12 students to be selected to serve as STL’s (Student Technology Leaders- Leaders)

C OMMON C ORE T RANSITIONAL P LAN iPad Initiative- All students will receive an iPad to be used throughout Math and ELA classes. iPads equipped with Pearson software. Curriculum directly focused on Common Core standards. iPads will only be used during academic school hours and not taken home.
