Blared- Made a loud, harsh, sound.

Mischievous- Full of mischief or conduct that is often playful but causes harm.
Gossiped- Talked or spread rumors, often unfriendly about matters related to another person.

Irresistible- Not capable of being resisted or opposed
Irresistible- Not capable of being resisted or opposed. On a hot day, a cold drink is so tempting that it is irresistible. Hesitation- A delay due to fear or doubt.

Word Parts - Suffixes Suffixes are word parts that are added to the end of the base word or root to change its meaning. For example, the suffix-ous means “ full of” so mischievous means “ full of mischief”.

Suffixes The suffix –ity means “ the state of”. For example when you add the suffix –ity to visibility means “ the state of being visible”. The suffix –ion means “ acts or process.”When you add –ion to demonstrate, the word demonstration means “ the act of demonstration.”

Reading skill: Summarize by using a Problem and Solution chart
A story Map helps you summarize information about the problems and solutions that characters encounter. Problems is the issues inside the story . Solutions is what ways or resolutions can the problem be resolved or fixed.
