About Netball Netball is a non-Contact sport. it is a game with 7 people on a team and 14 people on a court. The court is divided into 3 thirds, 2 goal thirds and the centre third. Every person has their own pacific position.

Equipment needed in netball In netball you need: 14 bibs I netball 2 goal posts 14 players on the court (7 on each team)

The rules of netball You can only step twice. You can only bounce the ball once. Each player is only allowed in pacific thirds (e.g. GK is only allowed in one third). No intimidation- means no waving your hands wildly when doing 3 feet. When each player is defending they need to have 3 feet distance or they will be called up for obstruction. Contact- means hitting, punching, kicking your opponent.

The umpires The umpires are one of the main parts of netball. they can call up obstruction, contact, over a third and a lot more. You need 2 umpires and they umpire on the outsides of the courts, they are each allocated half a court each. Without an umpire you can not play the game.

The positions The 7 positions are: the attackers are: Goal Shooter, Goal Attack, Wing Attack and Centre. the defenders are: Wing Defence, Goal Defence and Goal Keeper.
