2. What is a conversation? A conversation happens when 2 or more people are talking about the same idea.

3. What is a question? A question is usually a request (asking) for information or action.

4. What is a comment? I love cheese pizza! A comment is a statement about an idea, information, or something you see.

5. What is a related comment? A related comment is a statement about another person’s idea or information. I love cheese pizza! Me too! But, I also like pepperoni.

6. Getting Started… Do: Look at the person Say: “Hello,” “Hi,” or “How are you?” Wait: Listen for an answer

7. Next… Do: Look at the person Say: Make a comment or ask a question Wait: Listen for an answer or a related comment

8. Then… Do: Look at the person Say: Respond to their answer or related comment or ask another question Wait: Listen for their question or related comment

9. Finally… Keep repeating: Do: Say: Wait:
